People aged 12 and older can show proof of a negative test result at organizations operating in the Restrictions Exemption Program. Alberta REP requirements:
- The test result should be written or printed and clearly show that the individual has tested negative for COVID-19, include
- Type of test
- Time of sample collection
- Negative result
- Lab that completed the test (if applicable)
- Only Health Canada approved* rapid antigen, rapid PCR, or lab PCR can be used
- Tests from the Alberta Health Services public COVID-19 testing system can not be used for REP.
The following are NOT accepted:
- photos of a rapid test or result taken offsite
- self-tests completed offsite or self-produced documentation of a negative test result
- completed self-tests or rapid tests
